BOS · by MessCube
What your company knows, kept true.
Your people and your AI agents work from what is written down. BOS makes sure it is still right, so work gets done once, decisions stay made, and nobody spends a day on documentation.
Apple silicon by default. Signed and notarized by Apple.

Ours, in BOS: what still holds, the rules we live by, and where we contradict ourselves. One screen.
The problem
An outdated answer is the most expensive kind.
It reads exactly like a right one. It used to cost a person an afternoon. Now an agent reads it and builds on it in seconds.
Work gets done twice.
An agent builds on a rule you changed in August. It looks right, it ships, and someone spends Thursday finding out why it is wrong.
Decisions get made again.
Nobody can find why you chose it the first time, so the same argument comes back every quarter, with whoever is in the room.
What you learned leaves.
The gotcha, the number you measured, the reason behind the call: worked out at 4pm in a chat window, gone by 5.
What changes
Everyone works from the right answer.
01
Your agents stop guessing.
They check what your company actually knows before they answer, so what they build matches how you work today, not how you worked in the spring. The same goes for the person who joined on Monday.
02
You hear about it before it costs you.
When something written down stops being true, or two people have written opposite things, BOS flags it, often at the moment the change is made. The fix is already drafted and its cost is quoted. One click, and you can undo it.
03
Nobody does documentation.
What your team learns and decides is kept as the work happens, with the why attached. No doc days, no owner, no backlog of things someone meant to write up.

Two of our own documents disagreed. BOS shows both sides, says which is newer, and settles it in one click.
Proof
We run our own company on it.
350+
pages our company runs on, across seven areas
8
places we had contradicted ourselves, found without anyone looking
$2.67
quoted to fix 29 open problems in one click
It stopped us on the day we wrote this page. We tried to publish while one of our own documents still told readers to flip a switch we had removed hours earlier. BOS blocked the release until the document was right.

How it starts
Three things and you're in.
01
A model key
Any provider, your own account: Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure, Gemini, Groq, Mistral, xAI, OpenRouter, a LiteLLM or Portkey gateway, or Ollama on your machine.
02
A git repo
Where what you know will live. An empty one is fine: BOS reads your code, writes a first draft for you to read, and quotes the cost first.
03
Your name
So every change carries it. That is the whole setup. BOS connects itself to the agents on your machine each time it opens.
It stays yours. Everything runs on your machine with your keys. What you know is plain text in your own repository. We never host it, hold no key to it, and there is nothing to be locked into.
What it costs
Free while it’s early.
You see every cost before you pay it.
BOS runs on your own model key, so you pay your provider, not us. It quotes a fix before it runs it and keeps a ledger of everything it spent.
The plan, said plainly.
BOS runs on a licence key, which you get on a call with us, for a set number of computers. It is free while it is invite only. What you know stays plain text in your own repository whatever you decide later. No price yet.
Questions
Does what we know leave our machines?+
Only to the model provider you chose, with your own key, when BOS reads or fixes a page. Never to us. MessCube does not host your knowledge and holds no key to it. A licence check-in carries counts and the accept or reject answers you gave, never a page.
What if we stop using it?+
You keep everything. It is plain text in your own repository, readable by any person or agent and reviewable like any other change. There is nothing to export from.
Can it be wrong?+
Yes. That is why anything new starts as a draft that says where it came from, why a note waits a day before it can become permanent, why every fix is a change you can read and undo, and why "That's wrong" is a button. Each answer you give is recorded, so its judgment is measured against yours.
Is this only for engineers?+
No. The app is written for the person running the company: what holds, where you disagree, what to do, one button each. Engineers get a command line that does the same things, and a check that stops a release from making what you have written untrue.
What about assistants that can't run a local tool?+
Run bos serve where your knowledge lives, your machine or your server, behind your own token. We still never host it.
