How long has this ad been running?

Ad libraries never show results. Run length is the one performance signal they leak: an advertiser keeps paying for an ad as long as it keeps paying them back. Paste a link and see the number, and where it comes from.

Open one ad in the Meta Ad Library or the LinkedIn Ad Library, copy its link, paste it here. 30 checks a day.

How to read the number

Thirty days is the bar. Performance teams treat an ad that has run a month or more as a proven winner and an ad a few days old as a hypothesis. The number is not magic; it is the point where an ad has outlived the learning phase and the first round of fatigue and is still being funded.

Where the date comes from matters. Meta publishes a start date. LinkedIn publishes none, so MessCube reconstructs it from when the ad entered the library, or counts from the day it first saw the ad, in which case the run is a lower bound and the page says so.

A long run can be a small budget. Read it next to how many ads the same advertiser is running and how many of those are also old. The full read of the ad in MessCube shows exactly that, with the anchors every number stands on.

This tool answers from the ads MessCube has already read for its customers' markets. If it has not read the one you pasted, it says so instead of guessing. The longer version of this page is how long should an ad run before you call it a winner.
