We make MessCube, a product that overlaps with part of what TrendTrack does. This review is written from public pages, the official docs, Trustpilot and third-party reviews, checked on 22 October 2026. Prices move; check theirs before you buy. Where we compare, we say so and link our own benchmark, including its limits.
TrendTrack (trendtrack.io) is a French, bootstrapped ecommerce intelligence tool that launched in April 2025 and has grown fast, mostly with Shopify sellers. Its home page says "Find what's winning in ecom right now." In 2026 it added pages aimed at media buyers and creative strategists, which is why you may be evaluating it.
What it is
A bundle of libraries over the public Shopify and Meta ecosystems, refreshed every 24 hours:
- Shops. A library of Shopify stores (the site claims over a million) filterable by niche, traffic, growth rate and country, with per-store analytics: traffic estimate, best sellers, installed apps, theme, pixels.
- Ads. Meta, Instagram and TikTok creatives, filterable by format, days running, country, language and status, and "ranked by performance signals." For the EU and UK it shows reach and spend ranges, which come from Meta's own transparency data.
- Advertisers. Meta pages ranked by that EU and UK spend data, traced to the shops they promote.
- Emails. Competitor email flows and campaigns, which few rivals offer.
- Brandtracker. Daily tracking of named brands across ads, emails, traffic and products, with a calendar and alerts.
- A free Chrome extension that lights up on any Shopify store and shows the store's traffic, best sellers, apps and a link to its Meta ads.
- An MCP server and REST API on the Pro tier and above, documented for Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and others. Read-only.
What it costs
Three self-serve tiers plus Enterprise, as of 22 October 2026. Monthly first, then the per-month price on annual billing.
| Starter | Pro | Business | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $49 ($34 annual) | $89 ($62 annual) | $159 ($111 annual) |
| Lookups a week | 5 | 30 | Unlimited |
| Tracked brands | 2 | 10 | 20 |
| Ads and email libraries | No | Yes | Yes |
| API and MCP | No | Yes, metered | Yes, metered |
Two things to know before you pay. Starter does not include the ads library, so the real entry price for a strategist is Pro. And there is no full free trial: the free account gets the extension, some calculators and limited lookups, and the terms say subscriptions are non-refundable except within 24 hours of a first purchase.
What it does well
It is fresh, and it says so. Daily refresh is the claim reviewers repeat most, and Trustpilot reviews single it out ("the only one with accurate and updated daily data").
EU and UK spend. Meta publishes reach and spend ranges for ads shown in the EU. Most US-centric tools ignore it. TrendTrack surfaces it well, which makes the Advertisers module genuinely useful if your market is European.
Support. Reviews name support staff and cite fixes in under an hour.
Consolidation for a Shopify seller. If you run or sell to Shopify stores, one tool covering stores, ads and emails replaces two or three subscriptions. That is the product's real pitch, and for that buyer it holds.
Where it stops, from a strategist's seat
It ends at a folder. You can save ads, tag them and share the folder. You cannot turn a saved ad into a brief, and there is no production step. Even a competitor's review puts it plainly: it stops at research.
Filters are not interpretation. "Ranked by performance signals" is the whole analysis layer, and it is not explained. There is no notion of angle, of awareness stage, of which messages are saturated and where the whitespace is. You bring all of that yourself, which is fine if you have the time and the taste, and most strategists have the second and not the first.
Meta and Shopify only. TikTok is secondary. There is no Google, so no read on what competitors promise in search, and no LinkedIn at all, which rules it out for B2B.
Spend only where Meta gives it away. Outside the EU and UK there is no spend or reach data, and the tool does not reconstruct run length or spend from its own history.
Estimates presented as data. Store revenue and traffic are modeled. Reviewers who checked found them directionally right sometimes and off sometimes. Use them as a ranking, never as a number.
What customers say
Trustpilot shows a 4.5 from 83 reviews, with 96% five-star. The praise is data freshness, support and consolidation. The complaints cluster on three things: price and the missing trial (the most common), being surprised by what a tier excludes (one one-star review bought Starter for the Claude MCP and found it was Pro-only; another found an MCP session had used 10,000 credits), and refund friction. The company has not replied to its negative reviews. There is almost no presence on G2 or Capterra and no organic Reddit discussion, which fits a customer base that lives on YouTube and TikTok.
Who should buy it
Buy TrendTrack if you sell on Shopify or serve Shopify clients, your market is Meta first, and what you want is a fresh, well-filtered pile of stores, ads and emails with a daily tracker on top. At $89 a month on Pro it is fair value for that job.
Look elsewhere if you need Google or LinkedIn, if you need run length and spend outside the EU, if you want the tool to tell you which angle is proven rather than which ad is pretty, or if your workflow has to end in a brief and an ad rather than a folder.
How MessCube is different
We are not the same product, so the comparison is partly a mismatch. TrendTrack is a bigger, fresher library over one ecosystem. MessCube reads every ad reaching your audience on Meta, Google and LinkedIn, keeps its own history so it can show run length and an estimate of spend on all three, groups ads by the angle they share, reports a thin platform as a finding, and turns the angle you pick into a brief with its proof ads and then into finished creatives. The market read is $39 a month, there is no store analytics and no email library, and you can start free.
If what you need is the Shopify store layer, TrendTrack has it and we do not. If what you need is the read and the brief, we think the honest answer is the benchmark, and we published it with the cells we lost.
